By making a reservation, you agree to accept and comply with the rules and conditions set out below:
Rules for Property Use
To ensure the best possible experience, we have carefully selected high-quality furniture, equipment, and accessories. We count on you to respect them and keep them in perfect condition.
The premises must be left in the same condition as upon arrival: tidy, dishes done (dishwasher), free of any waste or trash (bags are provided for this purpose), with no damage or missing items (items taken).
All room equipment and wellness area facilities must remain in good working order.
Otherwise, we reserve the right to withhold part or all of the €500 security deposit.
L’Écrin is entirely non-smoking, including at windows and in the spa area. Outdoor spaces are available for this purpose.
Please respect the neighbors. Noise after 10 PM and before 9 AM is not tolerated.
Minors and pets are not allowed for legal and sanitary reasons.
L’Écrin is not accessible to people with reduced mobility due to its multi-level infrastructure.
L’Écrin reserves the right to terminate your stay without notice or refund if any of the above rules are violated.
In the event of a technical issue or force majeure, L’Écrin reserves the right to cancel or reschedule your booking (according to your preference and subject to availability) without requiring justification.
Liability/Commitments
L’Écrin and its owners cannot be held liable for theft or damage to personal belongings within the romantic establishment and its outdoor areas.
Since L’Écrin is not a hotel, the provisions of Article 1952 of the French Civil Code concerning hoteliers do not apply.
L’Écrin is committed to respecting your privacy, anonymity, and personal data.
Booking/Cancellation
A postponement of your stay may be granted as an exception in cases of force majeure (illness, death), upon presentation of supporting documents, and will be scheduled at a date chosen by the establishment (subject to availability).
If your security deposit pre-authorization fails, your stay will be automatically canceled without refund or rescheduling.
Check-in/Check-out
To maintain the privacy of the premises and its guests, you will receive an email with access codes 24 hours before your arrival.
Check-in is from 6:00 PM, and check-out is no later than 11:00 AM, unless you have selected the "late check-out" option until 1:00 PM.
Secure access to L’Écrin is fully autonomous for both arrival and departure.
An inventory check is conducted before your arrival and after your departure. If you notice any issues, please report them via SMS to assistance upon arrival.
Rates/Payments/Services
Our rates vary depending on weekday or weekend bookings, low or high season, and additional services selected.
A €500 security deposit (not debited) is mandatory and processed through the 100% secure Amenitiz platform.
Included Services
The exclusive privatization of the venue for the duration of your stay (subject to compliance with the terms and conditions), cleaning service, use of accessories and amenities, private spa access, internet connection, secure access, provision of bed and bath linens, use of hospitality products, and breakfast.
Please note: This venue is not a hotel. Therefore, it does not provide daily linen changes or housekeeping for stays of multiple nights.
Health Condition
It is not recommended for pregnant women, individuals with heart conditions, or those with high blood pressure to use the spa.
In general, L’Écrin cannot be held responsible for any health-related issues arising from your stay. No refund or compensation will be provided in such cases.
Intellectual Property
All texts, images, and sounds reproduced on L’Écrin’s website are protected by intellectual property rights worldwide.
These General Terms and Conditions do not grant any transfer of intellectual property rights on elements belonging to L’Écrin or its legal rights holders, such as photographs, images, literary texts, artistic works, trademarks, graphic charters, or logos.
An internet user who owns a personal website and wishes to place a simple hyperlink redirecting to L’Écrin’s homepage must obtain prior explicit authorization from L’Écrin.
In any case, hyperlinks leading to L’Écrin’s website must be removed upon L’Écrin’s first request.
Data Protection
Ensuring the confidentiality of your stay is a top priority for L’Écrin.
In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, amended by the law of June 20, 2018, and GDPR regulations, L’Écrin and its owners inform guests that personal data collected will be used solely for the requested services.
Only the owners who need to access this data to provide the best service will have access to it.
In all cases, guests have the right to access, oppose, rectify, or delete their personal data, as stipulated by law.
